In our country, more than 3,000 women get breast cancer every year. Every year, the Slovak Republic registers more than 900 deaths from this oncological disease, of which 300 women die completely unnecessarily, because they do not go for regular treatment and screening mammography examinations, and they only get to the oncologist's clinic at an advanced stage.

events Run for healthy breasts is not only a fight against cancer, but also to draw attention to the need for a healthy lifestyle and early prevention.

The Run for Healthy Breasts has a history of several years, the first year was held in 2018. This charity event is organized by patients of the organization of women with breast cancer – Civic Association Amazonky, Ružová stužka, n.f and Europa Donna Slovakia.
