Queen Elizabeth, the wife of Emperor Francis Joseph I, known as Sissi, became the first lady of the Austrian Empire in 1854 at the age of 16.

A beautiful, sensitive and wild woman, she spent her whole life running away from the suffocating restrictions associated with her position. She found happiness and love in Hungary, where she was admired by the noble court, but especially by Count Gyula Andrássy, who was considered the most beautiful man in the country. However, their love was never fulfilled...

The heroes of the dance drama are a rebellious queen, a reckless count and a beautiful Roma woman who dance through moments of unfulfilled passion.
