The Peugeot Slovak Open is the largest tennis tournament on a hard surface organized in Slovakia. This year he will write his 24th sequel. It will take place in Bratislava's NTC arena from October 9-15, 2023.

Last year Hungarian Márton Fucsovics won the title in Bratislava. The best Slovaks were Lukáš Klein and Norbert Gombos, who made it to the quarterfinals. The last Slovak to triumph at the Slovak Open was Lukáš Lacko in 2017. With three titles, the native of Piešťany is also the most successful tennis player at this tournament. Among other domestic representatives, Karol Kučera, Dominik Hrbatý, Michal Mertiňák, Martin Kližan and Norbert Gombos also enjoyed the title.

Years ago, later stars of world tennis, Serbian Novak Djokovic, Argentinian Juan Martin Del Potro, Russian Daniil Medvedev, Canadian Félix Auger-Aliassime and others started in Bratislava. Also in 2023, several well-known tennis players, as well as leading Slovak players, led by the best singles player Alex Molčan, will perform in the NTC arena. Thanks to the free cards, even young domestic tennis players from the upcoming generation will get a chance.
