Boston legend DROPKICK MURPHYS announces a concert in Bratislava!
Irish-American folk-punks will perform in Slovakia for the first time.

As part of the summer part of the concert series, they will also present the current twelfth studio album Okemah Rising.

Their illustrious discography includes four consecutive top 10 Billboard debut albums (Turn Up That Dial, 11 Short Stories Of Pain & Glory, Signed and Sealed in Blood, Going Out In Style), along with the nearly double-platinum gold-winning The Warrior's Code by the classic "I'm Shipping Up to Boston"

Biggest hits "I'm Shipping Up to Boston," "The State of Massachusetts," "Rose Tattoo," "Johnny, I Hardly Knew Ya" and "The Warrior's Code" have become anthems for the band's fans, who sing them at concerts on full throat.

With the new album 'Okemah Rising', Dropkick Murphys faced the challenge of working with the lyrics of Woody Guthrie. The album features new music to Guthrie's lyrics discovered through the Woody Guthrie Foundation and Archives. The result is a powerful and moving tribute to one of America's most important folk musicians. The new record also comes with a lofty desire to dominate the music world by storm.

This extraordinary concert experience in the form of punk and hardcore with traditional Irish music will overwhelm our metropolis on August 7, 2023 at INCHEBA EXPO in Bratislava.

Love for traditional Irish music, metal and the spirit of rock'n'roll - these elements gave birth to the Dublin band The Scratch, which will perform as a special guest at the Dropkick Murphys concert in Bratislava.
