Three unique evenings on the west terrace of Bratislava Castle.

Verdi's third opera, Nabucco, deals with a biblical theme from the Old Testament about the Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar, and at the same time belongs to the most frequently performed opera works ever. The story, more than a thousand years old, tells of a religiously motivated war and the expulsion of Jews from their homeland. Verdi portrayed everything with the feeling of a brilliant dramatist, and the music, full of immediacy, passion and temperament, rightfully captivates audiences around the world to this day.

The concert program is composed of famous opera arias, choruses and overtures. There will be well-known melodies from Verdi's operas Aida, Rigoletto, La traviata and Nabucco. By B. Smetana, we will perform the famous chorus "Why would we not be happy..." from the opera The Bartered Bride, the famous Ode to Joy by L.v.Beethoven and many other wonderful melodies.

At the final concert of film music, a large symphony orchestra will perform a number of titles from a wide range of genres of film and television music. After a huge success, we have again included in the program the melodies of world composers H. Zimmer Pirates of the Caribbean, J. Williams Indiana Jones and we are adding to them other world titles such as E.T. the alien, N. Rota and his famous Godfather, or the blockbuster films Angelika and the French comedies Piti piti pà, Policeman from Saint Tropez or Policeman or villain. For the younger grades, we have prepared well-known melodies from the movie Ice Kingdom or Sister in Action.

The highlight of the evening at the Bratislava Castle will be Vangelis' Conquest of Paradise under the stars.
