The group around the charismatic frontman Jesse Rutherford has been on the scene since 2012. The band caught the eye with the first single Female Robbery, followed by Sweater Weather, which was a worldwide success. The level of public opinion was also stirred up by their next single - the music video for the song Afraid caused a series of controversial reactions. This was mainly caused by the naked singer with exposed private parts in the video. Many were also bothered by the overly dynamic editing of the clip, in which images often alternated with rapid flashing, which could cause epilepsy in more sensitive viewers. The Neighborhood currently have 4 studio albums and musically oscillate between contemporary indie-rock and hip-hop. The Bratislava concert will be their Slovak premiere.
