The dog pack is ready to go again and mark new territories after a seven-year break. The Winery Dogs are back in full force with their third album, simply titled III, which dropped in early February. Album III was self-produced by The Winery Dogs and mixed by longtime collaborator Jay Ruston.

"We wanted to bring people an authentic listening experience," comments the III Kotzen album. "Our music is made by real people playing real instruments, and we compose it together in a room. There's nothing artificial about it," adds Sheehan. "I would like our listeners to feel the euphoria that we experience when playing together. Our music reflects what is important to us and what is not." continues Mike Portnoy. "The strength of this band is primarily in the songs, and only then comes the musicianship, which is of course important. What makes The Winery Dogs so special is that each of these songs is memorable, catchy and melodic, but at the same time you have the great musician kumšt represented by all three instruments and singing."
