The TRIBUTE TO FREEDOM event, a concert at Devín Castle, has been an integral part of cultural and social events in Bratislava since 2009, extending to the whole of Slovakia.
Even the venue of the concert - Devín Castle is one of the most impressive historical places in Central Europe.
This massive landmark is not only a symbol of the foundations of Slovak history, but its significance extends to pan-European contexts.
Celts lived here since ancient times, after them came the Romans, and since the 8th century it has been one of the most important Slavic castles.
After the end of the 2nd World War, the Iron Curtain ran directly under it...
In this area, Devín is a symbol for the entire country and is gradually becoming a memorable place for all democratically minded citizens of Slovakia.
